I did a song called Rock The Mic with like three 2 count chops from Walk On By. SOme of them I couldn't sample...what that really means is that my ears weren't ready to hear the parts that should be sampled. I mean that sincerely because I can't count the number of times that I listened to a whole record and heard nothing then came back 4-5 months later and had my "Rewind" moment.
