Hey everybody. Happy belated new year. To kick things off, I am starting a new feature on the site called “Sample This Now”… It’s pretty straightforward. I’ll post one cool song from my stash for you to sample, interpolate, enjoy, whatever… Thats pretty much it. Keeping it simple for the new year! The first sample is from Damn Sam The Miracle Man & The Soul Congregation. The track is called “Let Me Be Your Only Man“. Nice little up tempo with some horns that are ripe for sampling. Feel free to post your beats in the comment section if you want some feedback. I’d only post stuff I haven’t sampled. If you only knew how many ill songs I have that I never flipped… I probably make 1 finished beat out of every 10 good songs I try sampling. I’m super picky.

I feel like the drums need to drive the track more. Maybe create more of a groove. You could also probably clean up the little transition part too. It doesnt sound like its on beat to me.
Thanks for the feedback. I’ll probably get rid of the transition part so obvious it wasn’t on beat(u cud call it laziness on my part).I guess its back to the lab then. Thanks once again
Feelin the beat teck, like the use of the sample, cant hear a lot of you on the beat though, if u feel me. Could maybe have a better drum presence, and add more substance to the overall mix clarity. But still nice beat

Just right click on the link for the beat and select “save as”.
I should say, select, “save link as”.
Yeah, right click on the title of the song & “save link as”. That’s on PC though, not sure about mac.
