Review: SellMoreBeats.com – “Sell More Beats Online” Video Series

sell more beats

A few months ago I was in the process of setting up my first beat selling site, www.iLeaseBeats.com.  While researching the business of non exclusive beat selling, a friend of mine told me to check out a website called www.sellmorebeats.com.  I am the worlds greatest procrastinator (and skeptic), so naturally it took me about 4 months to finally check out the site.  After checking out the videos of the sellmorebeats series, I had to write up a review…

“Sell More Beats Online”

Video Series

I can’t front.  I went to this website expecting to hear some complete BS & find someone selling snake oil (wikipedia it) to unsuspecting music producers.  SellMoreBeats.com‘s Allan Brown showed me I was wrong to think such mean thoughts.   I finally finished the 70+ videos of the Sell More Beats series & I have to say I am a fan of Allan’s movement.  Over the course of the video series (split into 2 separate “Beginner” and “Advanced” series), Allan lays out all of the groundwork needed to start up a successful beat (or any other product) selling site.

BEGINNER’S VIDEOS

Allan uses the beginner videos to lay out the basic groundwork to launch a successful online business.  He covers all of the necessities; domain names, web hosting, e-commerce, setting up and building mailing lists, etc.  I’ve spent a lot of time working behind the scenes for Dynamic Producer, a successful membership based producer organization.  So I already know a good deal about these subjects, but I still found Allan dropping little jewels to drive home the importance of many things I already knew.  I admire anyone who watches these videos before they get started researching.  I kept thinking about how much time I spent googling and researching much of the info in these videos…

ADVANCED VIDEOS

It may be because I already knew a lot of the info in the beginner’s series.  But for me I think this is where the Sell More Beats series really starts to shine.   Once you have your website set up and ready to go, you need to market & brand your new site.   The advanced videos show you how to really make the right power moves to take your business to the next level.  Allan lays out strategies to tackle Myspace, Youtube, press releases, e-mail campaigns, forums and many other areas you need get involved in to make big money online.

PROS:

  • Valuable information that will take years to learn on your own.
  • The strategies laid out are all LOW COST.
  • Real life examples from someone who has been successful with online businesses & marketing.
  • Wannabe’s, beginners and veteran internet entrepreneurs can all take advantage of the program.
  • Signing up instantly gives you access to money making possibilities.
  • Much of the information is applicable to ANY online business.

CONS:

  • Presentation and organization of videos could be better.
  • A few redundant moments.

THE LOWDOWN:

At $25.99, “Sell More Beats Online” is an absolute “must buy” purchase for any music producer (or future internet entrepreneur) planning to make money online.  Throughout the series I kept having “why didn’t I think of that” moments and the truth is, you don’t have to think of it if you just sign up to SellMoreBeats.com.

EXTRAS:

I also highly recommend Allen Brown’s “Legal Hustlers” series.  It ties into many of the strategies laid out in the SellMoreBeats series.
