I had an email conversation with someone yesterday. The guy was complaining about how one of the latest FREE music submission posts I put up was dead. It really reminded me of how motherfu@$ing lazy the internet is making a lot of producer/beatmakers. Then I came across a couple videos today…
I want to give a special shout out to Frank Dukes. Besides making great tracks, the kid has been and has stayed on his grind for a long time. Despite living in Montreal & already having a solid discography, Dukes has been all over the universe attending both the biggest and smallest beat battles & music conferences.
Cheers to Dukes and the rest of the producers who don’t sit on their ass doing nothing, when they can be doing something…
PS On a side note, it’s great to hear some insight on beat picking from one of the great beat pickers of all time, Ghostface Killah…
