Jim Bond’s Fruityloops & FL Studio Template

FL StudioI was checking out an “FL Studio” session someone sent me and remembered how much I like my own basic beat making template.  This is the template I have been using for about 5 years now.   Unfortunately, because of the clowns over at “FL Studio”,  it is IMPOSSIBLE to create your own template like this (details on that below).  So feel free to download this one and make some bangers!

Scorpio61 Sample Mix… #61!!! The Samples Are MOVING!!?!?!?!?

Scorpio_by_FlippintoraScorpio61 has come through with another of his world renowned sample mixes.  Unfortunately there is no tracklisting for this one, but as always he comes through with some great music to listen to.

Also, from this point on ALL SAMPLE RELATED STUFF will be hosted on SATURDAYMORNINGSAMPLES.COM.  I decided to keep the real articles and content separate from the free download sample stuff.  All the Saturday Morning Sample stuff will show up in the center column to let you know when there is new stuff.

I’m also cleaning things up around here.  Going to revamp the video section and Sample Matrix a bit.  So it should be easier for you guys to move around the site more easily & get the info you need.

Quentin Tarantino Django Sountrack Commentary

Django-Unchained-Character-Banner-–-Quentin-TarantinoQuentin Tarantino, in conjunction with Little Steven’s Underground Garage put together a great podcast, which features the entire Django Unchained soundtrack with additional commentary from Quentin Tarantino.  Interesting to hear some insight from QT to see where he was coming from when he chose the songs he chose for Django.  He tells some great stories about Rick Ross, James Brown & John Legend…

Don’t forget to check out Django Unchained if you haven’t yet.  Highly entertaining film from a spectacular filmmaker & Jamie Foxx comes through with the best hero swagger I’ve seen in a long while…

Essential Listening: The Cratery Podcast

radio-show-logo-600-71992Damn… I guess I’ll need a late pass for this one considering this site has been around for years… Check out the site Cratery.com, they put out a podcast every month which features some great music, which definitely leans towards the styles we all know & love.   They got a few mixes direct from producers & vinyl heads I like, such as Moss, Jake One and Frank Dukes.  Check it out and don’t forget to subscribe to their podcast on iTunes!

Special thanks to Broadway for the heads up.
