I forgot I recorded this…  When I was up in Dukes’ studio, we were discussing drums and I thought of an interesting question to ask him. I left my recorder in my car and had to record this with my blackberry.  At the time, I wasn’t planning on posting the actual audio of the interview.  So please excuse the poor quality & shortness of the bonus haha.  I guess it’s better than nothing…

How do you feel about taking drums from other Hip Hop records?

It’s just not for me. If you can do it and flip it into some ill shit, I’m not mad at that. I’m not some angry elitist thats on that. I always thought it was a little corny… I guess I’m probably the last of a generation that looks at shit like that. Even for a while, I thought sampling mp3′s is corny. But times change.  I sample mp3′s every now and then too…
