Came across this video today. It profiles 7 producers who unified to create the Docutape soundtrack. Always good to see up and coming producers putting that work in… Check out the album on itunes after you check the video… Just picked up a couple tracks myself.
Here is a short “Documentary” for Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch The Throne album session they had down in Sydney Australia. Don’t expect anything too great from a music perspective, this is no Fade To Black. Best highlight to me is Kanye giving weird gifts to Jay for his birthday and Jay awkwardly pretending he likes them. Russell Crowe makes and appearance too… which is interesting, considering he has recently latched on to Rza’s upcoming movie The Man With The Iron Fist. I guess he hangs out with every rapper who comes to Australia?

Came across these Kanye West & Rhymefest videos today. Pretty interesting to see a pre 24/7 barber on call & pre Hollywood Kanye in his old New Jersey studio. Some demo tracks are played including a slightly different early version of Jesus Walks. Also includes a quick run through of Ye’s dvd collection.
